On arrival in Johannesburg, you are met and transferred to your hotel in Sandton. The remainder of the day is free to relax after your journey or enjoy the hotel’s facilities at your own pace.
After breakfast, enjoy a guided half-day city tour introducing Johannesburg’s layered history and vibrant character. Highlights include the Museum Africa, historic neighbourhoods such as Parktown and Houghton, Mandela’s former residence, and Constitution Hill, once a prison complex and now home to South Africa’s Constitutional Court. The experience concludes with panoramic views from the top of the Carlton Centre.
Following breakfast, travel to the renowned Sun City Resort, set within lush gardens and tranquil pools. The drive offers a change of scenery as the landscape opens into resort surroundings. The afternoon is free to explore the property or simply unwind.
This day is yours to enjoy Sun City at your own pace. Wander through landscaped gardens, relax by the pools, or explore the nearby entertainment and leisure facilities within the resort.
After an early start with a packed breakfast, transfer to Johannesburg Airport for your flight to Port Elizabeth. From here, continue by road along the Garden Route to Knysna, arriving later in the day and checking in to your hotel by the waterfront.
After breakfast, journey through the indigenous Tsitsikamma Forest en route to Knysna. Scenic stops along the way highlight the natural beauty of the Garden Route, before returning to Knysna for the evening.
This morning includes a half-day Featherbed Nature Reserve experience. The reserve is easily accessible from Knysna, and guests can walk to the departure point. The remainder of the day is free.
After breakfast, travel inland toward Oudtshoorn via the Outeniqua Pass, enjoying sweeping mountain views along the way. The day includes a guided visit to the remarkable Cango Caves, followed by a stop at a working ostrich farm, offering insight into the region’s unique heritage.
Following breakfast, depart for Cape Town on a scenic drive. During whale season (July–November), the route passes through Hermanus, known for coastal whale sightings. Outside the season, travel continues along the picturesque Route 62.

Today features a full-day private Cape Peninsula tour. The journey follows the Atlantic coastline via Hout Bay and Chapman’s Peak Drive, continuing to Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve. The return route passes through False Bay, with a visit to the penguin colony at Boulders Beach and an optional stop at Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens.
After breakfast, the day is free to enjoy Cape Town at your own pace, relaxing, shopping, or exploring independently.
